Thank you to everyone who joined us at our inaugural event. Articles and video content from the day are available on cnn.com.
Introducing Global Perspectives, a live event series that brings CNN International’s in-depth journalism and expert analysis to life on stage, convening leaders, CEOs, and innovators for a conversation on the big ideas, bold leadership and dynamic economies at the frontlines of global transformation.
This November, the inaugural summit will focus on Africa – a continent increasingly seen as a leading indicator of global change. Set to represent a quarter of the world’s population by 2050, Africa is home to fast-growing economies and a rising generation of talent. Its vast yet fragile natural resources and critical supply chains are in global demand. What will it take to shape a new era of inclusive, sustainable growth as Africa’s momentum builds?
CNN journalists will explore the forces that will shape Africa in the next century – and how Africa will, in turn, shape the world.
This is more than an event – it’s a platform for announcements and news making interviews, as well as a high-level meeting place for off-the-record conversations. Attendees can expect to form meaningful connections and new partnerships that will last well beyond the event itself.
Who’s attending?
Global Perspectives is an invitation-only gathering for international decision makers and influential leaders from across industries, including technology, finance, investment, trade, geopolitics, healthcare, tourism, and more.
The venue
Global Perspectives will take place in the brand new The Chancery Rosewood hotel opening this September. Located in the former US Embassy on Grosvenor Square in Mayfair, this luxurious hotel blends historic architecture with modern elegance and cultural vibrancy.
The African continent is rapidly emerging as a key player in the global high-end economy from premium travel to fashion, cuisine, design, and technology. Inspired by CNN’s new Seasons series, we ask: who are the people—and what are the most coveted products, places, and experiences—defining the trends of tomorrow? Fashion designer Ozwald Boateng sets the scene before a panel discussion moderated by Eva Omaghomi.
